PRIME EP

Starla Marie’s new music is a hybrid of multiple genres, as diverse and unique as the artist herself. Each record is distinct in song content, music production, message, and vocal delivery. Starla has co-written and co-vocal produced all of her music and sings all the vocals and harmonies. Created during the Covid-19 pandemic, the songs on “Prime” are Starla Marie’s most vulnerable and personal releases. The artist hopes that there is something on the EP for everyone to enjoy. Starla Marie and The Vanderveers (Automatic and Ebony Rae) are Executive Producers of the single and EP. Automatic has worked with Michael Jackson, Cher, Pink, Christina Aguilera, and many, many more. The Vanderveers are co-owners of inRage Entertainment—a multi-genre, full-service entertainment and production company in Los Angeles, with a current focus in artist development and music and content production. The pair has recently been working in K-pop with multiple global and Billboard-chart topping hits by XIA JUNSU (Uncommitted,  Incredible, Rock The World) and Twice (I’m Gonna Be A Star).
 

Starla Marie’s incredible work ethic gives her an incredible advantage over most. She is truly dedicated to mastering her craft. It’s been a pleasure to work with her on this project and to learn from her the true meaning of Aloha.

Throughout her career, Starla Marie has performed in Hawai’i  for “Mayor Mufi Hannemann's Birthday Party Celebration”; at the "Ho'olaulea Waikiki”; and as a featured artist at the Pipeline Cafe. She has toured across the Pacific, Korea and Japan. Starla's hit songs and videos, have been licensed in the very popular game, “Dance Dance Revolution”.
 

Starla would like to give special thanks to: her cousin and Billboard-topping, international recording artist, Glenn Medeiros for inspiring and guiding her career in music; Russell Tanoue, celebrity photographer, for photographing her for the single and EP cover art; Raymond Del Barrio, Academy Award-winning choreographer (Whitney Houston, Paula Abdul, Chita Rivera) for his assistance in preparing her for upcoming performances; and Adam Hughes for designing her single and EP cover art and website.

 

ABOUT STARLA MARIE

On March 12th, 2004, Kauai Mayor Bryan Baptiste presented a proclamation, declaring the day to be “Starla Marie Day”. In addition to her career as a recording artist, she is an exceptional actress who has appeared in three independent feature films and Jurassic World Godzilla.
